Since I started trashing sports snacks back in the spring, I’ve heard from a lot of you. Many of you agreed with me and shared your own frustrations. Others didn’t and made some really good (and thought-provoking) counterarguments. Whatever you had to say, I have loved hearing from you and am thrilled that this topic is generating such interesting discussion.
Thank you for reading these posts, for sharing your thoughts, for passing my words along to your friends–and in some cases, for even taking my suggestions (both successfully and unsuccessfully) to your own children’s coaches and team parents.
Now I have a favor for all of you soccer moms (and dads!): I need photos of your team’s soccer snack.
Whether the snack is orange slices and water or Cheetos and Sunny D this weekend, snap a photo with your camera, your phone, your ballpoint pen spy cam–whatever you can manage on the soccer sidelines. Doesn’t have to be fancy, just in focus.
Then email your photos to me at [email protected]
I’m working on a project that I’ll share with all of you when it’s done. But I need your help to make it happen. And no worries–your name won’t be included, and if you don’t want your child’s picture in the project, just take a photo of the snack itself.
So thank you in advance! And gooooooooo [insert name of your child’s team here]!!
