I used to have a collection of bottles and cans under my kitchen sink: sprays to clean the counters, blue stuff to clean the windows, stainless steel paste for the appliances, and a bleach powder for my white sink.
That’s all gone.
Now I have a stack of cloths. And instead of spraying toxic-smelling cleaners around my kitchen, I use plain water. Water!
At the risk of sounding dramatic, Norwex microfiber cloths kind of changed my life. No scary fumes. No childproof locks on the cabinets. And I’m actually getting my kitchen cleaner than I did before.
With the Enviro Cloth and water, I can clean gunk off my stove top, erase the fingerprints on my stainless steel refrigerator (leaving no streaks), clean the counters, scrub the sink, then rinse the cloth and wipe away the muddy cat paw prints from the back door (again, no streaks). Using just one cloth and water. It’s sort of a miracle.
I was introduced to Norwex by my friend Carrie (aka Green Clean Girl). You can see her demonstrate the cloths in this video (she wipes Vaseline all over a mirror and wipes it off–no streaks!). Carrie is kind enough to be offering a giveaway to one of you!
The winner will receive one Enviro Cloth and one Window Cloth (a $35 value)–plus a sample of Norwex laundry detergent. To enter, please leave a comment at the end of this post telling me your biggest cleaning challenge in the kitchen. To increase your odds of winning, you can also leave up to three additional comments:
- “Like” Green Clean Girl on Facebook here AND Real Mom Nutrition here, then leave me another comment telling me that you did.
- Subscribe to my blog using the “Subscribe By Email” box on the right, then leave me a comment telling me that you did.
- Tweet about the giveaway, then leave me a comment that includes a copy of your tweet.
The giveaway ends Monday March 25 at noon Eastern Time. I’ll choose a winner at random through Random.org‘s number generator. U.S. residents only, please.
