I used to dream of Clinton Kelly and Stacy London crashing my closet for a “What Not To Wear” overhaul. The next best thing: A makeover for my blog! And just in time to celebrate a birthday. Six years ago this week, I started Real Mom Nutrition (read my very first post: Get Real).
I’m so happy with the site’s new, fresh look–and the fact that it’s more user-friendly than ever before.
You’ll find:
- A brand new recipe index
- Topic pages devoted to the subjects I write about the most–Snacktivism, School Wellness, and Picky Eaters–with helpful posts and resources
- Shopping galleries of my favorite lunch-packing supplies and kitchen tools
- A place to listen to The Happy Bite, my podcast with Dr. Dina Rose
- A sign-up to receive my posts by email plus a newsletter of bonus recipes, tips, photos, and updates (sign up in the box on the top right)
This blog makeover couldn’t have happened without some special people:
Rita Barry, blogging coach extraordinaire. I can’t say enough about the direction and motivation that Rita gave me. If you’re a blogger who is feeling unsure of what steps to take next, how to take it up a notch (or, if you’re just starting out, where to begin), contact Rita!
My graphic designer friend Christy, who gave me a new logo that pays homage to my soccer snack crusade.
Michelle Daniel Photography and Lauryn Byrdy Photography for wonderful images.
My husband, aka my WordPress developer, technical support, sounding board, biggest fan, and the person who told me six years ago that I should start a blog (and who pressed on even after I replied, “Why would I ever want to do that?!?”).
I hope you enjoy the new site as much as I do!
