Summer is the perfect time to enjoy some healthy snacks with your family–and you can help meet your child’s daily fruit serving with the help of these Summertime Banana Bites. They use simple ingredients and are snacks the whole gang can help create.
There are two different versions of Banana Bites provided below. Please adjust accordingly for food allergies, and enjoy!
Peanut Butter & Nutella Banana Bites
You help meet your child's daily fruit serving with the help of these yummy Summertime Banana Bites.
Ingredients
- 1 banana (sliced into four pieces)
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon Nutella
- 1/4 cup red raspberries
- 1/2 tsp shredded coconut
Instructions
- Slice the banana into two pieces, and then one more time to half them.
- Place peanut butter in a mug and microwave for 30 seconds, or until warm and liquid-y.
- Drizzle over bananas on a plate.
- Repeat process with Nutella.
- Sprinkle raspberries and coconut over top.
- Refrigerate for an hour. Serve.

Yogurt & Honey Banana Bites
The whole gang can help create this snack, which uses simple ingredients.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 tsp shredded coconut
Instructions
- Slice the banana into two pieces, and then one more time to half them.
- Mix yogurt and honey together until smooth.
- Drizzle with a spoon over bananas on a plate.
- Sprinkle blueberries and coconut over top.
- Refrigerate for an hour. Serve.
